HOLTBY VILLAGE HALL MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE – Registered Charity No 1190336

Holtby Village Hall Management Committee has recently been registered as a Charitable Incorporated Organisation. This gives it a formal and legal basis for its ongoing administration of Village Hall matters.
As a committee, we expect to meet charity requirements of responsibility, accountability, and transparency when carrying out our role, and to continue to provide a facility which is a public benefit in our community.
Our formal objective is therefore
“The provision and maintenance of a Village Hall for the use of the inhabitants of Holtby and the surrounding area (defined as a 2.5 mile radius of Holtby), without distinction of political, religious or other opinions, including use for
- Meetings, lectures and classes
- Other forms of recreation and leisure time occupation, provided in the interests of social welfare with the object of improving the conditions of life of the inhabitants.”
The trustees of the charity are Chris Spedding, Chris Utley, Mairi Bailes, Dave Bailes and Bernard Simpson.
We look forward to being able to re-open in 2021 so we can once more provide a focus for leisure time activities for the local community.
